Weekend workshops

We hold weekend public Taiko workshops for people of all ages. The workshops last for one or two days. Please see our events page for details about upcoming Taiko workshops. Regular weekday Taiko classes

We also hold weekday Taiko classes in the afternoons and evenings in London. Courses are typically four weeks long, with a 90 min class every week. Please see our events page for details about upcoming Taiko courses.

Taiko Summer School

Our annual residential 4-day Taiko Summer School has been sold out for three years running. Participants learn the importance of warm-up excersizes and stretching, reinforce their basic Taiko technique, increase their fluency between music and movement, and perform a Taiko piece in front of an audience. Watch out for details of our 2011 Summer School.

For Kids

In schools

We regularly take the taiko drums to primary and secondary schools all around the UK, for introductory Taiko workshops or longer residential projects. These usually culminate in a stunning display of Taiko by the children for the rest of the school. During school holidays
